Matthijs Crietee is Secretary General of the IAF, the International Apparel Federation, based in the Netherlands. The IAF is the world’s Federation for the fashion industry, with fashion industry associations representing over 60 countries in all continents. The IAF supports its members in creating a stronger fashion industry. The fashion industry is one of the largest industries in the world, employing tens of millions of people worldwide. 

Matthijs is regularly active for the Dutch fashion industry, supporting both MODINT and Click Next Fashion with knowledge of the fashion industry build over nearly two decades. Also, he is an occasional guest lecturer at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and at the Academy for Association Management. He is a natural optimist and a firm believer in the importance of knowledge and true supply chain cooperation to make the fashion industry an even better industry than it is today.
