The speech covered the many facets of Fashion-Tech at the crossroad of design, engineering, entrepreneurship and material science. In this webinar, the intertwined history of fashion and technology, the emerging technologies shaping the future of the sector, design-driven research and entrepreneurial experiences pushing the boundaries of this realm were presented, also highlighting the project FTalliance.

Fashion-Technology Showcase

Daria Casciani, (POLIMI) project manager of the FTalliance project presented the results gathered by the knowledge exchange between Academia and Industries project during the DeFINE: Fashion-Technology Showcase (May 27, 2021), discussing how digital transformation policies are driving Fashion-Tech growth and impacting entrepreneurs. Participants were young start-ups, companies, HEIs, fashion supply chain association and policy makers.

Introducing FTalliance

Chiara Colombi (POLIMI), project coordinator of the FTalliance project presented FTalliance at NETfas.eu meeting held April, 22nd, 2021 (https://www.netfas.eu/). The meeting was targeting the European Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Europe, being a consistent group of academic institutes that educate people for key positions in the textile industry and perform applied scientific research to be interested in the project.
